How many items can I win?

There is a Daily limit of 2 items and a weekly limit of 4 items.  The Daily limits will be reset every day and the weekly restriction will be removed 7 days after the auction was won.

What if I don't receive my registration email?

After registering you should receive an email with a link to confirm your registration.  If you do not receive this email first check your spam or junk mail.  If you still have no email please contact us at support@AHAbids.com and let us know your user name and we will try and correct the problem as soon as possible.

What is "Buy it Now?"

 

Certain Auctions will have a “Buy it Now” option offered to the users who placed bids on an item but did not win.  The Buy it Now option can be exercised within two hours from the end of the Auction.  Users who placed Bids on an Auction they did not win may use the total dollar amount of the Bids placed on that item towards the retail purchase price of the item listed at the time of the auction.  If a user does not exercise this option within the two hour time restriction any Bids placed on the item become nonrefundable.  No “free” bids, special offers or promotional Bids may be used toward the purchase price of the item when using the Buy it Now option.

 

What is "Otto Bidder"

Otto bids can be used on Penny Auctions. You set the minimum price you want the auction to reach before your bids are used, the maximum price you are willing to spend and how many bids you want Otto to be able to place. Then when the timer reaches 15 seconds or less (randomized) if you are not the current bidder Otto will place a bid for you. Otto will continue to place bids until you win, run out of bids, the auction passes your price maximum or you turn Otto Bidder off.

Step 3:  Pick an auction
Now that you have purchased your bids you are ready to pick an auction.  All of our items are the hottest products and are brand new with full manufacturers warranty.
Step 4:  Bid on item
Each time you place a bid on an item, your account will decrease by one bid and the auction price will increase by a specific amount, usually 1 penny.  If no other bids are placed before the timer reaches zero then you win!

Can I return an item after receiving it?

Our goal at Backbidz is customer satisfaction so if you find your are not satisfied with the item you have won you can return within 10 days.  Once the item is returned in its original packaging we will refund the final auction price plus the shipping cost of the item.  The cost of the bids that were placed on that auction and the cost to ship back to us will not be refunded.  You will need to contact our support staff to make them aware that yhou are returning the item.

How long do I have to pay for an auction?

If an Auction winner does not confirm and claim the item the user placed the last bid on within 7 days from the time the Auction ended AHAbids reserves the right to withdraw the offer to sell the product at the winning price and has no other duties under the contract as it shall be null and void. If AHAbids withdraws the offer for this reason the “winner’s” right to claim and pay for the particular item is revoked. If this happens any Bids placed in that auction by all users are non-refundable.

How do I pay for an item?

To help ensure the most security and privacy to your information, we direct all payments though paypal.  If you have a paypal account you can use it, if you do not have an account you can set one up or you can use a credit card through paypal without setting up an account.  When you click on buy or pay now button you will be directed to paypal to finish the financial transaction, when you are finished you will then return to AHAbids.com.  Paypal will handle all of the credit card data so AHAbids.com will not need this information.

If I bid on an item and lose do I lose my bids?

Yes any bids placed on an auction are not returned.  The buy it now feature is offered on most items so you can apply the amount of your lost bids to the retail cost of the item.  Bids that were not purchased such as the free bids when registering or bids won from the bid voucher auctions will not be applied to the purchase cost of the item.
